Brown Trout
Choose where you would like to fish:

Tonto Creek offers a more advanced style of creek fly-fishing, with lots of Brown Trout hidden throughout the canyon. This trip focuses a lot on technique and how to fish tricky Arizona small creeks with lots of obstacles along the shoreline and in the water. The hike is moderate with some crossing needed, so good water shoes, boots or waders are needed. These can be provided if you need. Please contact us if you have any questions!

Christopher Creek offers a more advanced creek fishing experience in the Tonto National Forest. This trip focuses on stealthy approaches, with many productive pools and pockets filled with fish. We will be targeting Rainbow and Brown Trout during this trip. The hike requires us to be in and out of the creek, so you will need good water shoes/ boots which can be provided if needed. If you have trouble with uneven ground or “creek hopping” we offer more accessible trips. Please contact us with any questions!

Horton Creek is another great Brown Trout fishery connected to Tonto Creek. This trip offers a great experience for a lot of wild Brown Trout hidden throughout this small creek. The trail offers plenty of easy access to the creek but does require some off trail “creek hopping” to get to some of the pools, so good hiking shoes or water shoes are required. These can be provided if needed. Please contact us with any questions!
